With over 100 species of tulips onsite, and an innovative feature garden, Floriade welcomes spring in style. 1.5 million bulbs will be planted across the 20,000 square metres ground .
Floriade first began when Peter Sutton and his colleague, landscape designer Chris De Bruine, developed a proposal for a grand floral display to celebrate Australia’s Bicentenary.
Floriade is a diverse, ever expanding program of music, cultural celebrations, food and wine, horticultural workshops, market traders, artistic displays, entertainment and recreational activities. With over one million blooms on display Floriade is the perfect place to experience the beauty of spring. Join us to celebrate the 32nd
year of Floriade with the theme World in Bloom
Open daily from 9.30am – 5.30pm, weather permitting. Last entry to the event is 30 minutes before closing.
